It takes a lot of Volunteers to put on an event the size of Eagle Fest.  Everything is volunteer.  If you are interested contact the Eagle Fest Committee Volunteers.  Some of the areas to volunteer include:

Office Workers - volunteers work the office -- answering the phone, giving information, preparing mail outs, etc.  This office is open year round.  Help is especially appreciated in the fall and winter months before the Eagle Fest.

Organizers and Planners - volunteers plan the various aspects of the event including the barge tours, parking, security, vendor areas, exhibit areas, entertainment and souvenir sales.

Event Helpers - volunteers are needed for running the various activities throughout the 2 day event and prior setup.  You can choose where you would like to help.  Some suggestions include souvenir sales, ticket sales, making signs, directing traffic (parking), tour guides, making coffee, clean up, decorating, photographers, information booths, guest registration, entertainment coordination, electricity, barn preparations, bus drivers, barge handlers.

You name it and it probably needs to be done and volunteers get it done.  All volunteers will be greatly appreciated and it is rewarding to get involved with community and nature events.
